Annette Gerard

Annette started her Dragonboat journey 27 years ago. It became Annette's mission to develop the sport of dragon boating in Hamilton, forming The Hamilton Titanic team in 1998. She went from a paddler to coach by being an active participant in the sport. She has been taught by many recognized national coaches. Her career highlights include three medals (gold, silver and bronze) in international events, achieving a time of 1:57 in NYC having the fastest time of the entire event being obtained by a womens crew. As a participant her travels have taken her to Italy, Germany, California, Vancouver to name a few. She has her Level 3 NCCP coaching certificates and has had the opportunity to coach many teams / individuals of all ages and levels. She is a key figure in developing the sport of Dragonboat in Hamilton. It's the Hamilton Titans 25th year anniversary in 2023.
